How the Institute works
We start with companies that run well. When a practice repeats across contexts and survives scrutiny, it becomes a candidate. We place it using dependency logic so the build order still works.
Evidence means something you can point to: a document, a system, a process, or a pattern that shows up in real operations.
What “standard” means here

- Seen to matter in real companies

- Changed or removed when scrutiny fails
The removal test
Remove a requirement and ask whether the company still makes sense.
If accountability, cash, or handoffs break, the cell stays. If the story still holds without it, the cell was never load-bearing. The grid keeps what passes that test often enough to justify one shared map.
